Performers with the Jing Woo Martial Arts Association stage a traditional Lion Dance at the opening ceremony of this year's Calgary Lantern Festival at Chinook Centre. The theme of this year's Lantern Festival is: "Hong Kong -- Calgary: Smart Link to Prosperity". The festival is intended to help foster closer economic relations between the two regions, and features a variety of cultural activities and an economic display outlining the benefits for Canadian businesses expanding into the Chinese market.
